Weekend Activities

Saturday, August 7th @ 6pm: Rehearsal/ Welcome Dinner for out of town guests and family!

As a reminder to all of those who will be joining us on the boat Saturday night, please arrive no later than 6:15 pm at the Casco Bay cruise line in downtown Portland. You can visit their website for directions cascobaylines.com .  Also, check the weather and dress appropriately (it may be cooler out on the water).  Dress code is casual. We can't wait to see you all!!!

There are lots of things to do in the Greater Portland Area! Check out some of the local beaches, go shopping, and sight-seeing! And make sure to eat some local "lobstah"

Exchange street is the place to go for shopping at little boutiques in the heart of the "old-port"
For outlet shopping and the REAL LL BEAN (open 24 hours 365 days) go to Freeport--a 20 min drive from Portland.

Portland HeadLight in Cape Elizabeth is a must see and an easy 10 min drive from portland.

There is a great music/art scene in Portland. The Portland Museum of Art has many beautiful pieces, and there are many local galleries that carry beautiful local art.

The big pubs are Bull Feeneys, RiRa and Gritty McDuffs--but they get crazy crowded late night. Our personal favorite is an irish pub called Brian Boru.

We will add more information as our plans for the weekend become more clear. We want you all to take advantage of your time in "vacationland" !!!
